Just wanted to welcome people to what will be Laura's blog regarding her stay in the hosptial. This is mainly a place for friends and family to share stories, pictures, and well wishes about Laura during these hard times. Here is a story to get you all going...
It was a hockey game at the Honda Center where the Ducks were hosting the Calgary Flames. Laura and I had come upon a pair of nose-bleed seats and made ourselves comfortable above the masses. A period passes and we begin to hunger so we sneak down to the vendor booth and are quickly price gouged on some nachos and a hot dog. So we're watching the second period and Laura goes to take a HUGE bite from her hot dog; so big that it squirts hot dog juice on the family in front of us. The projectile finds it target on the back of "mom's" head as she turns around and with a look of disbelief says, "Did YOU just squirt me with your hot dog?!"
My head quickly drops into my hand as i try to hold back the laughter while Laura is frozen with a look of shock, fear, and hot dog. I forget what happens next because I never did stop laughing... but I guess its all just a reminder of how clumsy our little ballerina can be.
